Linlen

Caroline Hamann was born in the heart of Bavaria and changed her name to Linlen when she was three. Around the same time, she picked up a pen and has been drawing ever since and still does, to this day.

On the way, she made (and still makes) animated films, most of which Danny Hahn generously supplied with beautiful music.

Her work has been fondly showcased here, on “The Online Multi-Arts Centre”. Linlen has been working professionally as a stop motion animator since 2004, animating on childrens’ TV series as well as feature films. Her other positions in Animation include coordination, continuity and teaching animation. She has a daily sketch blog called A Headless Donkey if you want to see regular new work. Currently, she is working for Aardman Animations in Bristol. Please visit her work on linlen.com
